Faryl joined the Hinges after an email mix-up led her to believe our rehearsals were actually her extended audition to be Stephen Colbert's understudy. We're pretty sure she has yet to catch on (so please don't tell her, nor should you be surprised by her tendency towards sudden political-satire-themed monologues).
In her former life, Faryl trained felines in the Stanislavski Method, choreographed claymation routines for Ricky Martin and consulted on a self-help book for the compulsively neat. Rumor has it, it was Faryl who initially stole the Sexy that Justin Timberlake boldly claimed to be "bringing back" (Ms. Zaklin remains characteristically tight-lipped on the matter). Faryl is also credited for coining the term "vagcinity".
As modest as she is talented, Faryl thrives on movies, techy geek stuff, pop culture and carbs. Contrary to ongoing allegations by a certain celebrity blogger whose name *might* rhyme with "milton", Faryl is not a vampire and has been known to venture out into the daylight. Granted, one would be hard-pressed to find her without a hat and sunglasses. This, however, has more to do with this ingenue's tendency towards tardiness in getting ready than any association with the afterlife.
Upcoming projects include a book on the abolition of math and mayonnaise as well as a web-series featuring her two cats (Kaya Cher & Marley) as beauty-pageant-queens-turned-detectives.
