A Hinge is a collection of screwballs, doorknobs and metallic actors…sharing a perfectly seasoned mixture of comedy and dramatic sketches made-up on the spot, intertwined with fast-paced random improvised stories.
This isn’t your Granny's ole Games! When you come see the Hinges, expect the unexpected—from mini-movies to blueballs, morons, bizarro-world politics and randomness! (oh, and some R-rated nonsense too…and occasional male upper body nudity.)

Auditions
The Hinges are sometimes in the market for new players! If you are a woman between the ages of 18 and 35 and you have been yearning to be set free on the stage with the ensemble, we'd like to meet you! Training
Always wanted to try Improv, but don't know where to start? As you might suspect, there is a method to our madness, and several of us cut our teeth with San Diego's own Jacquie Lowell. Not only will she show you the basic skills of Improv, but a science of accessing your imagination that helps you in all aspects of your life, from work to public speaking with confidence and ease, to making new friends.
